Is it possible to restrict access to certain pages or a directory for password, using web forms? Sorry for the stupid question.

This isn't that easy, you would need to program this using PHP. But you could try protecting some directory or also single files on your website using the HTAccess file. See this explanation as example: http://davidwalsh.name/password-...
