Where does it display that, on the website or in the editor? Also, what operating system are you using?

Some generic tips:
- Maybe it helps already entering your text in the property window in the 'text' field.
- Also, there is an option in the settings of website painter where you can tell how it encodes characters. Try the other setting, if this happens on your website only, maybe it helps.

my os is mac osx 10.7.5. The "Currency symbol " always happen in any component which can add text, such as 'text' component and other.

Hi,
did you try the tips mentioned by erik? Also, where does this happen to you, in the editor or on the website?
