I would love to see support for the Xbox one controller in coppercube.
Just for the fact that games would be easier to play on a controller and it would just be nice to have that feature for my future games, maybe think about it Niko?

For a game engine a game controller is nowerdays a must have.

I have an OUYA and a Razer ForgeTV (AndroidTV), there are up to 4 controllers supported. Also for local multiplayer it is not very comfortable.

Also a lot of the games on Steam are playable with controller. And for BigPicture-Mode in Steam it is the best.

The Chrome-Browser supports the XBox 360 Controller. And also for maybe later if your engine will support UWP it would be great for Windows 10 Store and XBox One.

I am playing most of my games with the controller, also the 3D games, to seperate work which I do with mouse and keyboard from gaming.

Via Bluetooth or USB it is easy to use XBox Controllers also on Android-Tablets, Mac Books or Windows Tablets/Laptops, not only desktop.

I am using GameMaker Studio and AGK2, they both support Controllers, also Unreal Engine and Unity. The best thing on your engine is the fast load and minimal foodprint. But a game engine without controller support?

(another topic, I updated to 5.6 and still can't jump with space bar in the example files, animation ist stuttering.)

Thanks a lot. Great work.

Me too I have a few old and new joystick H.O.T.A.S including the Thrustmaster TFlight HOTAS X and the Saitek X45 and I have the Thrustmaster Afterburner Mini HOTAS series and the Saitek X36 USB and Gameport H.O.T.A.S as well be a shame if I can't use it in this game engine I just bought yesterday.

I don't expect support for gameport as that its ancient and unless you screw it to the soundcard or gameport card not very good but for USB controllers yeah support should be there

Hello, the software is very, veryyyy great!!

Congratulations! After many research and tests to create games, CopperCube is the best!!!

The controller suport is a very important thing, is the only thing to get 100% of the software performance!

You still work on this?

Thanks for the great software!
