Hi, CopperCube 5.6 is out now. This is a free update for all existing users. See the detailed change log here: http://www.ambiera.com/coppercub... This contains the already announcemed vegetation movement support (see image below), a new window mode, improved tree generation, screenshot support, and a lot more. Hope you like it! I also did some tests for adding dynamic shadows, and I will blog about this in more detail within the next days. It works and is possible but to make it really useful, the rendering pipeline needs to be modernized and unified a bit. So this means it will take a bit of time until then, but a modernized rendering system with more options like shadows, specularity and similar will likely be added in on of the future updates. |

Great update! |
Dude I love it !!! |
Please add view distance to terrain grass and trees, so that we can make big terrain without rendering the whole terrain grass and trees. Thanks for the update. |
It should be already be possible, you can adjust the ZFar value of the camera. Also, you can add fog, to make that then look a bit better, if you like. |
Lets say I have a house like the image below, if I adjust the ZFar value, the house will not be visible also, on the other hand rendering the grass near that house and after that distance makes no sense, since it is not visible by the player anyway. |
Ah, you mean only for the grass. Yes, that would be a possibility. Added to the TODO list. |

I started using copper cube and I am in love with it...The problem is how to set up the Android.I don't have Android 8 platform..But the latest,is there a way I can make Android games/apps using copper cube without having to download Android 8 platform API 2.2? |
In the Android SDK, you'll find an Android SDK manager. Click it and there you have all the API versions to choose. Select that Android 8 platform and it will download it to your disk: |

the rendering pipeline needs to be modernized and unified a bit. This should be on the top of your "to do" list. cheers |
