I always have seen in other games that their files are splitted like costumes.vdlk, model.mdl etc. even sounds and maps are saved differently and there is a main file which starts the game by combining these. This helps to load larger games with less RAM usage. Does same happens in coppercube?

AFAIK, there are also separate files in CopperCube, they are just combined into one big file on disk so that it is easier to distribute the game. But looking at the scripting functions, underneath still there are separate files like sounds and textures which get loaded only when needed.
