I use sculptris for 3d modeling, and when I import those models into coppercube the textures work fine. However, they are extremely high-poly, so I use 3d builder that comes with windows 10 to simplify the model. The problem is the simplified models don't show the texture. How can I fix this?

Maybe youre modelling tool doesn't save the texture or material? Which model format are you using?
In CopperCube, you can click "View -> Show Output Window" and see if there where some problems finding or loading a specific file.

I use obj. It's not that it's not saving the texture, whenever I try to put a texture on it, it just turns a solid color based on what color the texture is mainly. For some reason, the higher poly 3d model of the same file type does show textures.

Maybe you can try another file format to export from your software. Alternatively, you can send me the .obj and ,mtl file and I'll try to improve the importer.
