Confusion of Steam price of Coppercube

I initially wanted to buy the professional version of coppercube because I want video playback.
I don't care for the source code of Android/C++/Flash, I just want to have the ability to play videos.

But the price of 541.02SGD is just way too much for that one extra capability that I need, I don't want to pay for the source codes, I don't care for it.

Imagine my pleasant surprise when the price of Coppercube professional is 134.5SGD in Steam !!!

I want to buy it and I want to buy it now.

BUT

I don't want to install Steam.

Can I pay the Steam price[134.5SGD] for Coppercube professional instead of the 541.02SGD WITHOUT having to install steam ?

If it is possible, I will pay now !

I bought the pro edition of CC from steam for 144.. It's worth it, steam is pretty cool I think so I don't mind but I love the pro, so much more freedom

If you buy CopperCube from this website, I can give you a free Steam key, but the other way round, this doesn't work unfortunately, since Steam introduced their refund policy.

The price of Coppercube professional is 134.5SGD in Steam but 541.02SGD without Steam.

Looks like I will install Steam now.

Time to buy Coppercube Professional now !

"Your transaction failed because you are trying to buy 'CopperCube - Professional Edition' which requires ownership of 'CopperCube 5 Game Engine'. Please correct the error and try again."

It's ok, I think I will just buy from the official Coppercube site but I will have to buy the Basic Edition even though I really want the video playing ability.

Is there any place I can find the discount code ?

Oh I just found out Amazon's free Game engine Lumberyard can play back videos up to 4K 60p !

Definitely worth a look now !

Lumberyard is just cryengine with a different name.. May look fancy but CC is still the easiest to use
