Hey ya! As I understand it, when using the ccbSwitchToCCBFile() javascript feature, you must store your other .ccb level files in an accessible area so the game can load it. But what is to stop the user from simply opening up the other .ccb levels with a copy CopperCube?? |

|
When using this can i simply add my level files in a folder anywhere in on computer or does the files need to be in a specific area? |

When I try to use the script this error pops up saying Syntax error: missing ; before statement I'm not a coder so idk what it means |

|
Ok nevermind the error, that's fixed now when I use the script it doesn't do anything |

it needs to have the quotation marks in order to work like so ---> ccbSwitchToCCBFile("otherfile.ccb"); The original announcement only had single quotes for some reason which is inaccurate. |

I actually saw that and fixed it so it works now thanks |

uh oh... I didn't get a response to my question. i must have angered the gods again... |

Ah, sorry You are right, there is nothing preventing other people from opening your file, just like with other engines. If you want, you could encrypt them (then decrypt them temporarily and open the decrypted file), or at least don't give them the extension 'ccb', use anything else, like .dat. And yes. you can use the file anywhere on your disk, use a path relative to your game executable to load it. |

while we're on the subject of this, can this be used to make custom loading screens, as in showing a scene until a new one is loaded? |
