This can be acheived.
1) Simply create a keyboard in coppercube. Then whenever there is a key pressed, simply asign a variable to a string... You can do this in Javascript... Someone should make a behavior for this...

For example:
1) "W" Touch input item is pressed : Execute behavior when clicked, asign W to another variable using string concatination
