How to create stencil portals like in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A... using this http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Ope... in CopperCube? |

Not sure how. I think there might be a trick I am currently not aware of to make this possible, but I couldn't think of a way to do this right now without programming it manually. |

Wow, that video is incredible. It's almost like the video game version of being on LSD. Niko might be right on the programing part. Even though that stencil portal demo shown in the video was created in Blender, some scripting programing had to be used for it to work, even for Blender. So with that said, it would be safe to assume more or less the same kind of programing will have to be used for CopperCube also. |

Well i Don't know if creating these portals is actually possible in coppercube? unless we have Multi camera rendering in the scene... But here is a small trick i have used to mimic the Portals shown in the video here is the link to exe file to test the portals out.... https://drive.google.com/file/d/... And this trick doesn't require any kind of programming... |

And You can download the source ccb file from Marshtownmadness community website... |

@just_in_case would you mind sharing this example file? Will it work on WebGL? Thanks. |

Not seen just_in_case on here for a while. I'm sure he'll be back though. These portals are called: non-euclidian geometry. There are many tutorials and articles online (for unity, mincraft mods, doom mods ect.) since the idea was made popular by the famous game called "Narbacular Drop". The mathematics and 3 different geometries were also studied in the art of MC Escher. These are probably the best starting points if you can;t find a coppercube example. |

This was a very old sample file and it has been depreciated, As the new version of CopperCube will have some more API commands. It will be possible to create Real see-through portals, using the render texture to target API. |
