So how does this work? and I don't want existing posts, please someone just explain this. Explain the setup with your player and how damage from enemies can subtract the percentage thats displayed on the overlay. Nobody has yet to give me the full information just bits and peices of it. This would be a helpful post on the forum for the next guy.

I'd just let the health start at "100". When you display the health on the screen, just add a "%" character after it, then you have percent.

How do I set it up? Like what behaviors and actions do I use? Do I need to add anything to my enemy? I just can't wrap my head around this health thing

Attach the behaviour.. game actor with health and ai to your player and enemy...
Then use the global variable ...
Player.health
Player is the name of the scenenode whose health varaible u are going to use....

Note:- there is hashtag before the player.health....

For an unknown reason can't write that symbol in these forums...
