And of course it would be nice to have a 64bit Version of IrrKlang for it. *smile* I'm using the MinGW-w64 distribution "TDM64 bundle" (36.4 MB ยท GCC 4.8.1) from http://tdm-gcc.tdragon.net/. It is easy to install and works as full replacement of MinGW32 for me, because it could produce 32-bit programs, too. Based on GNU GCC/MinGW compiler configuration, you only have to add the Prefix "x86_64-w64-" to compiler and linker file names. The Flags "-m64" (64-bit), "-static-libgcc" and "-static-libstdc++" are use by default (if no counter instructions are set). Compiling of IrrLicht works fine, just as with MinGW. But there is perhaps one disadvantage of TDM64, too:
Because of TDM-GCC's continuing goal of minimizing extra DLLs, winpthreads has been compiled statically. It will be statically linked with every program you compile, ... Because every program you compile will now rely on winpthreads, you should make sure to read and comply with its MIT-style license, included in the file "COPYING.winpthreads.txt"
You will find this in the README-gcc-tdm64.txt and get an longer information text about this displayed while installing the compiler suite.
