wrote: jeeeez how you make the aiming control? please tell me how?*cry*
It takes a lot of playing around, but whats going on is that i have a FPS Camera with the character node parented to it. I had to play around with the models placement, and limiting the max vertical angle to prevent it from looking funny. Waist height or higher is better. Shoulder height works the best if you want more vertical rotation. Also for the "Collide when moved" behavior is attached to the camera, and requires a big x,z radius to account for the character being in front of the camera. It takes a lot of fiddling to be big enough to not clip through the wall, but does not limit movement in tight spaces. Then using keyboard presses I set a variable called "animation" to some number states 0=idle 1=run 2=shoot, etc. Then every few seconds (use a small number like 50) I assign an animation to the character based on the variable animation. Then fun stuff like movement aim sway and gun recoil can be done by using timers and rotating the character model slightly. The crosshairs are a 3d node parented to the character node to show how the aim is effected. by sway/recoil. That's the basics of what I did. It was a lot of trial and error.
