count2rfeit wrote: well, I have spent the last couple weeks rebuilding the interior of my space ship to match the new game script I have changed to. first - a word about writing my game... i would like my game to be involving for the player. things to do, problems to solve, puzzles, survival, all the modern game features. BUT, when you research the AAA games for the last 10 years - they have remained basically the same thing... first (third)person SHOOTERS. Yes, they have added to their game script and involved the player a little more, but they remain shooters. why? well, shooters sell ! we all like to shoot things, stab things, blow things up. and evidently AAA game devs know this. SO... my game script will remain a FPS first, and try to add a few other features as well. now - about this walk thru... bugs, yes. I find when the estimated memory needed goes above 350MB then CC throws some unexpected problems...so you have bugs to fix and re-fix. Also, they are still voice overlays and small aggravating things to be worked on. I still need to add a lot of detail and "clutter" around the ship, maybe some fog in the cold storage vault to make it look really cold inside. things like that. But - this walk thru should give a good idea of how the game will look. in fact, this scene may become the intro scene in the actual game. here is the link (Finally!) to the new walk thru. (this scene was make totally using CC) https://www.mediafire.com/file/56aufwgy8wzbzti/Star_Clipper_II_Walkthru_2.exe/file] ...and next chapter will be "Marauders!!" (let the laser blasting begin) AND ALWAYS, thanks for looking!
