In your publishing settings for the game, change the window mode to

Exclusive Fixed Size and Checkmark the option use desktop resolution for fullscreen and also check the fullscreen option.

It will automatically resize your game windows according to end-user display settings. If the user has 4K resolution then the game will play in 4K and if he is using 720p then the game will run in 720P. According to me, that's the best setting for the display when creating games with CC.

Doesn't seem to work (I've never been able to figure it out). I'm having the same issue. My settings are as follows...

..but the game runs in a window on the desktop (not full screen) and it doesn't seem to respecting the native resolution of the host machine either - people are reporting the game is too big/too small, zoome-in/wrong resolution etc..

If i create an exe in one folder and play it.. window size is OK.
If i take this exe out of its folder and put it in another folder and i run it -window size will be messed up.
-so there is something that needs to be fixed for sure.

Then it might be a bug that is causing the issue, the recently introduced "Resolution parameter" for CLI might have caused it.
However, for me, it works perfectly fine, even after moving or changing the directory.

below are the publishing settings that I use always for my games.

@VP, I can see that you are using 16bit of color depth mode, that might be the reason you are having issues, change the color depth mode to 32 bit and it will be fixed. just tried publishing the game with your settings and using 16bit color depth is causing the issue of not running the game in fullscreen.

when I changed the color depth back to 32bit everything seems to work correctly.

Hope that helps.

Ah OK! Thanks. Yes, I'll switch to 32 bit colour. Thank you.
