Hello everyone. Thanks for all the others threads. they are really useful. My problem is the following: When I shoot while walking, the shooting animation begin but the walk animation stops it so We can't see the shooting's animation fully and instead the walking animation seems to be priority. I would like to know how to make the shooting animation while walking, so that the shooting animation is priority over walking while still moving of course. Thanks everyone in advance, I'll still search in the meantime. |

Question? Are you creating your own animation or you getting it from Mixamo? |

I'm using in this project the soldier from coppercube. But later I would like to use mixamo. |

But it seems the action of walking is always in priority if I pressed another button for shooting. Is it something I'm doing wrong or something else? Is it because I use the " do something when a key is pressed" behavior when I indicate I want to shoot and have an animation of pistol_shoot? |

It's depends how you set up your character. Is the gun remain in the character hand while walking? Is there a walking animation with the gun in hand? Do you want the character to pull his gun out before shooting? Is it a third person character or FPS character? |

Thanks for your comments, you are right. I understand that it is indeed about how I want to set up my character. I didn't put any gun attached yet. You are right about the fact I didn't add a walking animation with gun in hand. My vision was, he walks, and when I click to shoot, he should have only the animation to shoot while still moving. But since he is still moving, the walking animation stops the pistol_shoot animation. But what you are making me realise, is that what I want is: the soldier is walking and when I shoot , the animation becomes the one walking_while_shooting, while still moving. Here is a link of what I have, what I did, my .ccb file on gdrive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/... edit: it is a third person shooter |

So... Is there someone who knows how to change the walk animation only when I shoot, so that it can become walk_while_shooting, and when I stop shooting, it comes back the simple walk animation? |

It totally depends on the player controller you are using, the default inbuilt behavior for player controller will override the shooting animation with the walking animation. As you are going to create a third-person shooter game. I like to suggest you to use @smnMhmdy's TPP player and camera controller, it provides you advanced third-person camera along with a player controller. It also comes with a demo file, so it won't be hard for you to understand, how to use it. here is the link to the original thread of the camera behavior:- https://ambiera.com/forum.php?t=... hope that helps |

Thank you so much serguell and just_in_case_ for your indications and tips. Thanks just_in_case for your explanation. I'm gonna try the @smnMhmdy's TPP player and camera controller. I opened the ccb file and so far I understand it. So i'm gonna try again on my project and come back to post any news. Also I'm gonna try with the Clerk , strange the Clerk doesn't have this problem. I'll check it too. Thanks again both of you. Big thumbs up |
