I'm getting this error in the debug console: Error: Normal map renderer only supports vertices of type EVT_TANGENTS. Anyone know what could be causing this? The error message only shows when I toggle fullscreen, but the normal maps themselves appear to be working fine. I don't have the normals on any animated meshes, just default CC primitives at this point. I thought it was only because I was using normals on planes, but it seems to be doing the same for the cube. Any help would be appreciated. |

don't know try recalculating your normals |

I already tried that before I made the post, but from what I can tell it throws that error even with default CC geometry and the included normal map (checked on a friend's PC too). I don't think it's anything to be concerned about, so I will just ignore it. I'd still like to know if anyone has gotten the error to go away when using normal maps, and if they did, how? |

This error only occurs when you have models in your scene that have different vertex types. CC uses mainly 3 types of vertices. EVT_STANDARD EVT_2TCOORDS EVT_TANGENT If you are not encountering any normal issues visually then yeah, you can ignore the error. |

Thanks for the info, Just_In_Case. I normally use my own meshes inside CC and had never noticed the error before. This prototype level I am working on has some CC primitive placeholders in it and those were the ones causing the issue. I deleted them and it went away. |
