Depending on screen height and image dimensions it can happen that an image opened in overlay mode conflicts with a fixed menu bar, i.e. the upper section of the image will be hidden behind the menu bar. See screenshot below: I have set the menu bar to semi transparent to provide an uncropped view, but actually would prefer if the image "overruled" the menu bar. Is there a way to accomplish this, alternatively, to switch-off the menu bar if an image is opened? |

you can give this gallery a margin top; per example 10 if your menu have 10 heigh |

Thanks, bupp, but I guess this will only affect the gallery itself, i.e. the thumbs view. And I had to live with empty space between the gallery and other content. |

You could likely adjust the zindex of your menu to be below 50 which is the zindex for the gallery overlay (and 51 for the image). That might help. |

Thanks niko, I did not touch the menu's zindex as I like how it works, but I did change the zindex for the overlay image from 51 to 100 (by editing the wsp_gallery script). This gives me exactly what I want. The image overrules the menu See the result: |

In order to not forget the trick, and in case someone else wants to use ist, I have made a one-pager PDF and made it available for download: https://4hundert.de/public/Rocke... |
