Is it possible to have rc use notepad ++ to edit code? This gives a great ease of use when coding in php and/or javascript. At the moment it is done by copy paste between rc code editor and notepad ++. |

How much code are you using in RocketCake? Usually you don't use that much. |

Maybe I need to consider just hand crafting the site which would be a shame as I really like rc for doing all the hard work. Barry |

wrote: but you can insert JS, HTML and PHP-Codes by tools in RC Yes, that is what i'm doing at the moment. what i was hoping for is the internal featureless code editor be replaced by notepad++ with the likes of intellisense, indentation and numerous other features. It looks like the solution is to use an external js file pulling that in in Rocket Cake in a single line then using document to run it. This way I can keep using the excellent rc editor and add some animation. |
