I'm trying to make a 3rd Person Shooter game in CopperCube but I have some issues, I had problems with player movement and collision. I'm using the 3rd Person behavior made by mnmhmdy not the one that comes with CopperCube Engine. The player movement is not in sync with WASD pressing and some parts of the character are colliding with the world after I added 'Collide When Moved' behaviour.
Pls I'll love if anyone could pls check it out and tell me where I'm wrong.

But I noticed everything works perfectly until I add a gun and cross hair as child nodes of the player, but I'll have to add Gun and Cross hair to the game since it is a 3rd Person Shooter so I don't know if there's another way of attaching the gun and cross hair to the player without making them child nodes.

i would use 2d overlay for the cross hair.

make sure the gun does not have collision on

there is also a option in "modify selection/attack node to animated join..

you might want to check that out if you have not to attach gun to animated model.

this is info to try to help maybe you have tried it I dont know.

Thanks @ coa ,yes I attached the gun model to the animated joint and the gun does not have collision too but the cross hair is a billboard, I'll change it to a 2d overlay and see if it works.

I took a look at the cc file you uploaded

I found few problems

the third person controller by sm has inbuild controller so you dont need object controlled by keyboard.

the gun had collision on but it should be off.

Download the newest version of sm third person controller to fix the issue with player not rotating and facing the wrong way.
seems like you are using old version of it.

There is also a problem with the player animation it moves forward when playing walk animation it should not do that.. it should play the walk animation in the same place he is standing.
