Are there any templates for Rocketcake available for download?
I think the ones here from the forum I have already found.
In the vastness of the Internet I found nothing on the subject of rcd templates.

But what is this page about?

http://rocketcaketemplates.com/

there is also no german speaking forum

If you look for templates, search for rct files, not for rdc. While there is no difference technically, rct is the commonly used file extension for RocketCake templates. However, there don't seem to be any out there in the internet.

RocketCake comes with a number of templates you can chose from, either from the popup window in RocketCake or from the \templates\ folder in RocketCake's program folder. Just double-click an rct file and specify RocketCake as the default app to open this file type.

Here is a series of video tutorials on RocketCake (English), and on some of them you can download the rcd file:
http://www.rocketcaketutorials.c...

Finally, as for language issues, here is an excellent online translater: https://www.deepl.com/translator

Further on the above:

The easiest way to try the RocketCake templates one after another is to use the Open button, navigate to the \templates\ folder in RocketCake's program folder, set the file type to rct, and select a template.
🔎︎

To try the next one, you don't have to close RocketCake. Just open the next one.

Thanks for the tips.
I work with deepl often and with pleasure. Then often have to translate my German-English translation back from English-German. Because forgotten what I wrote :-(
from there gladly a german forum
The rcd files I had already found and looked at.
But found nothing suitable (picture gallery)
I have to see if I can change the path of the templates, I'd rather have them on my work harddisk.

There is one template with an image gallery. It calls "Blue Company".

And yes, you can copy RocketCake's \templates\ folder to a place where it is easier accessable. But be sure to just copy it. Don't move it away from RocketCake's program folder.

On my website, which is on photography, I make extensive use of image galleries. See for example the page https://4hundert.de/eri.html. If you like the galleries' layout I can provide you with the gallery specs I'm using.

Hello Micaelo,
thanks for the link to your page.
It is very well done. I would be interested to know how your pages are structured in rocketcake.
Comes pretty close to the idea of my gallery, would be nice to have this as a template.

The structure of my website is pretty simple. I've got the 6 individual pages that you see in the navigation bar, plus a masterpage. On the masterpage I've got the fixed navigation bar at the top und the footer at the bottom.

The entire website is set to a max width of 1000, and so are the image galleries. I have decided for 4 colums and square format for the preview images. That's because my images are a mix of portrait and landscape format and I think in that case thumbs in square format provide the most suitable preview.
I did not change the default breakpoints of the galleries. If I look up my website on my smartphone the galleries collaps to 2 columns which still looks nice.
As to the open mode I have decided for overlay without navigation buttons because the back and forth buttons would appear to the left and right outside the image and so prevent the image from using the full screen width on small devices.
Here my gallery templates: https://4hundert.de/public/my_ga...
There are 2 gallery templates. The only difference is: One has bottom margin=0, the other has bottom margin=40. The latter template will be used if the gallery is either the last or the only gallery on a page so to ensure a defined distance to the footer.
Further, I made a minor tweak to the gallery script (wsp_gallery.js) to ensure that if an image is opened it will be displayed on top of all other content instead of being partly hidden behind the fixed navigation bar. Here is a PDF on how to do this:

Thank you Micaelo, this will be a great help to me.
I am in the process of making a kind of Lexican in German. There are also all the English instructions from the forum translated into German via Deepl. Would it be okay for you if I included your rct and instructions?

That's fine with me. Go ahead, and good luck.

One thing to note regarding my above mentioned tweak to the gallery script:
RocketCake rewrites this script each time you press Publish, even if you did not make changes to any of the galleries. So the tweak will be lost unless you take measures to prevent it. I simply rename the existing wsp_gallery.js into xwsp_gallery.js before I publish to disk. Then I discard the newly created wsp_gallery.js and rename my xwsp_gallery.js back to wsp_gallery.js
