I tried inserting an image and it rotated it. Is there anyway to rotate an image? |

Not in RocketCake. You'll have to get the image orientation right in your image manipulation software. |

Thanks for your reply. i opened the image in a photo editor turned it, saved it and tried to reimport it....same thing happened. No joy. Kept to the original orientation. I just tried to import another photo which in a photo editor was the right way up and once imported it turned it 180'. Leaves me a bit perplexed. |

rannett wrote: "Leaves me a bit perplexed." The image orientation (if you don't disable auto rotate in your camera) gets witten into the EXIF data of each image. If your image manipulation software or image viewer allows removing the EXIF data try this and re-save without EXIFs. (In case you want/need to keep the EXIFs for other purposes work with duclicates). After that, check once more the images' orientation and "repair" if needed. That should do the trick. |
