Hi there!
I tried searching about this problem on the forum but other than a thread called "transparent yes or no" I couldn't find an thread about it.

I import a transparent image but each time there is a very visible border when it shouldn't. I did the transparency myself on gimp.

Has anyone come across this problem before ?
Is there a way to remove the border? The problem seems to come from Coppercube I think.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

edit: Happy New Year to everyone

There is a setting in the Attributes of the 2D Overlay called Sharp Image. Turn it off.

Thanks for the reply.
But I'm using the image on a plane as a texture not in a 2D overlay.

Also if it's happening on a 3D model, then go to View > Show irrEdit Properties. In the the window that pops up you should be able to scroll down and uncheck all the Bilinear Filters in the Materials tab. If you don't have the Show irrEdit option in the View menu, you need to turn it on. Go to Tools > Options and check Show irrEdit Options and then restart CC.

Note: if your model has multiple materials with the transparent texture, you need to turn off the Bilinear Filter on each material.

I believe it happens because the border of CC's textures is black. You see this when you use the texture packer to merge all your textures on a model into one texture atlas. Because of that the filter blends the edges which causes the black to bleed into the transparency. That's just what I think. I may be wrong.
