how do i make that when i harvast some wood (variables) a 2d text pop's up? saying: 1 wood added? and how do i make that i can see the value of a variable in 2d text? |

There is action set text. Variable you display by adding $myvariable$ ( if i remember correct - i use javascript usually ) With javascript i would make onframe event that manages temporary messages.. i would clone 2doverlay set it text .. move it up until its y=0 then delete it. [Just for idea] I recommend to use forum search option because these questions is answered already and all answers laying deep in forum. |

Its a action: Change 2D Overlay Text use $ [dollar symbol] at the beginning and at the end of variable name in set text. Action can be called : on every fewMS behaviour So you want to update it in every 100ms then use behaviour for this. you can update it with keypress also.. if keyPressed then setText. also dont forgot to enable Draw Text on 2d overlay propertyes. |
