So, I have some props on a scene that have specific commands attached to them and I need them on another scene. How do I copy-paste them? Or, since the terrain will look mostly the same, duplicate the scene and just make little changes?

Make a backup of the scene (so you still have a copy of the original). then delete everything you don't need from the scene, then Click save as (import this to new scene).
Then open your new scene and click "import scene" and navigate to "import this to new scene", it will import everything left in the old scene into the new scene (including models, behaviours, actions, textures,lighting etc.)
