This is probably no big task for most of you, but I so far have not found an elegant solution. I have 3 long pages of FAQs because I put the answers right below the questions. How can I ensure that the answers only appears after clicking the questions? Guess I have to work with overlays, but how exactly?

You can use the HTML summary tag to unfold the answer upon click on the question.
See here https://www.w3schools.com/tags/t...
I haven't tried it, but I guess you will have to put each question with its answer into a separate HTML element.

+1 to putting this feature on the promised road map for future development?

Yes, something like that is on the TODO list, but not many people asked for it yet, so it's not the highest priority right now, but let's see!

Thank's so far. Well this feature appears on every google search. Haven't written HTML for 20 years, but I'll try that - detail - feature. But I guess the answer will overlay the next question. I'll let you know.

No, it should not overlay the next question but just expand the height of the page. And even if it did, the answer will disappear when you click the question once again.
I'm on travel with just my android tab, but I will try this when I'm back home.

There is also another way to accomplish this. Seems you could also create your questions and then using anchor links to take you further down the page where the answers are. having another link taking you back up to the questions.

I have made a quick test with the HTML <summary> and <details> tag. It works but is not very convenient to set up. You can download the test file from here
https://4hundert.de/rctests/summ....
You won't see anything in the editor. Click Preview to view the effect. Clicking the triangles will open or close the details.

After all, I think afterburn25's proposal for using anchor links would be an easier solution.

Thank you all,
I'm glad being with RC and helpful guys like you.
Need some time to try as it's not my only job.

Hi, I'm here again regarding the FAQs,

The easiest way is to write my questions (green)each in a line one below the other with a hover link to an answer page where the answer (light grey) is then written under the question (green). Clicking there on the question again takes me back to my question page.

So far everything is easy. The only thing I haven't been able to do so far is to use the style feature in the links to change the questions from the collection and answer page from green (not yet clicked) to gray (visited) the coming back to the FAQs.

I've already emptied the cache, restarted RC and tried all possible combinations in the styles, I just can't succeed as I wanted.

Question: Have one of you ever solved the same problem or does he know what I have to do? I would be eternally grateful for a solution.

I tried and didn't succeed either. See my separate post on the subject

I would love to see the Anchor Link option added to the toolbar/menus of Rocket Cake! It is something I have been trying to place in our site index for some time. Just have not figured it out yet. :)

I did the upgrade to professional and installed the Accordion component. Works great for a very long FAQ that I wanted to make more accessible.
