I use Open Office to create Complex tables and copy the HTML directly into <HTML> Code https://u-54.com/newpage01.html (instructions) https://u-54.com/2023eventscedule.html (actual webpage) |

Ah, interesting, didn't know that works. Thanks! |

Why such a complicated approach - just to end up with a non-responsive table? And imagine how difficult it will be to maintain and update the table! Why not use RC's Table insert? |

The approach I have used has more options like merge cells, select columns or rows to add attributes. The table is fully responsive as it is inside RocketCake. Maintain? I cut and paste everyday. RC's Table insert is just to simple for my needs. |

No, sorry, it's not. The widths of <table>, <tr>, <td> are all specified in absolute. Try it yourself: Look up the page on your smartphone, or reduce the width of your desktop browser. |

The widths are now relative. |

Ray, I use the insert HTML feature to copy existing code from a webpage that has lists of 100s of magazine and video title links. It saves me from having to enter the URLs and looks the same as if I had done so. I tested on several devices and cellphones. I see your last comment here that your table has relative width and should re-size. I visited https://u-54.com/2023eventscedule.html to see and apparently it does not resize in browser or testing with cellphone. Did you change the code to resize? |
