To the right of the text box where you type in your post is a box which says "Possible Codes". If you look in the box under it shows the codes for links, bolding text, etc. If you click the blue text that says Image it will add a brackets for you. You then paste your link between the brackets. To make sure your post is correct before posting, you should use the preview button at the bottom before posting. Also to get the image address from the image you want to post, you need to right click the image and copy the image address. You would then paste that address between the brackets.
