Hi, this is a new update to the Custom Point Light shader to v4.1, it's not been a week since I updated the shader to version 4.0, but here I am with another update. This update brings some changes to the shader action, major changes are as below. For full changelog and details of version 4.0, please check the product page and the changelog in the script file that you get with this shader. Shader now supports upto 10 points lights being rendered on the objects at the same time, There is now emission map support with a toggle to switch between Ambient_Occlusion_Map and Emission Map. There are variables available to change or update the properties and data during runtime. Refer to the product page for variable names. There is a new javascript command ccbUpdate_JIC_CustomLightData(), which needs to be called whenever you change material-specific properties and want the shader to show those changes you need to update the light data by calling that command. The shader is now highly optimized for performance. There are many other minor and major bug fixes in this update. For a complete changelog and dev journey please look at the script of the shader action. With this update the price of the shader has been also increased by $10 USD, you guys will still be able to purchase the previous version for $20 USD, but for version 4.0 and above the price has been updated. This is to make sure that the shader gets continuous updates in the future and also to prevent misuse of previously generated download keys, which have been misused, and prevent scammers. Hope this will get some sales and I can upgrade my old GTX 750TI with a better-performing card, lately, it is having issues with the speed, and I can't test high-quality rendering stuff with CC. If you guys have previously purchased this shader, and don't want to willingly purchase it again, then you can contact me via email or Discord and we will figure a way out. If you want you can pay the difference amount and can have the latest updated shader. Just contact me here on my email or Discord for any queries and question or you can also reply to this forum thread. It is sad that nobody responded to this thread, I found this and third-person character controller extension By @SmnMhmdy the most advanced and I think it's must have extension. You did almost half the engine work with this lighting extension, this really is useful sir, wish if there is directional light or shadows support too, but even without those additional features, it is still very usefull. Thinking of getting the PBR-one also but I am not sure if I am going to use that one or not. with Third Person Controller I can control my character the way I wanted, it does have sometimes that sneaky bug or glitch for camera when moved vertically, but so far it does the job. Thanks for making these extensions, will be supporting more of your work in future. |

Glad that you found this useful, was busy a lot, but hope to bring more to the community, will try to implement more stuff to the engine core API. |
