I can get the fbx easy enough but can't seem to get the textures. and I'm not even sure how to apply them in coppercube.. if I did. I'll keep looking but if you happen to know how I'd appreciate it. Thanks. |

Look on Youtube for Glitched Velocity (Just_In_Case's channel) for a video with FBX in title. He shows you how to join the models in Blender so the textures apply correctly. |

Never mind, it didn't have FBX in the title like I thought. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... That should answer your question. Let us know if you need any more help. |

Oh yeah, I remember that video from a while back but didn't think of it. Thanks. Wouldn't you think at this point UNREAL would automate the chore. But I can hardly complain considering they let me use it for free. |

Problem is that Unreal is only exporting one texture. I've read and also watched videos explaining how to get it to export the textures but haven't found one based on the current release. Therein lies my problem. Thanks fdor feedback. |

I have not used Unreal in a long time, but what do you mean by one texture? Is the texture an atlas? Does it have all the textures put into one image or is it just exporting the first material of a model and then ignoring the rest? Maybe try this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?ti... |

From that tutorial I posted the guy at the end says he hasn't found a way to export all the textures with the mesh. I'm assuming you'll probably have to export the mesh and textures separately like he does on the video. It's possible to bake the textures into an atlas. Here is a link to a tutorial by GamesFromScratch: https://gamefromscratch.com/expo... Baking them might be the best solution to save time. |
