Hello everyone. I'm just wondering if I am allowed to rename the irrKlang DLL file? Background: I develop an application which targets 3.5. I will perhaps change it to 4.0. Now, my app comes as a simple ZIP file and if the user just extract it (how he did several times before), there would be an unused irrKlang.NET2.0.dll. I think there are four solutions: 1. Keep using irrKlang.NET2.0.dll 2. Tell the user to delete everything before update 3. Keep trageting 3.5 4. Rename irrKlang.NET2.0.dll and irrKlang.NET4.0.dll I want to rename them to irrKlang.dll, but as I mentioned before, I don't know if this is allowed. Regards, Phil. |

I'm not entirely sure if it will still work when you rename the .net dll, but if it does, just do it. |

Didn't work, but that's no problem. BTW: Thank you for developing this really cool library. I love it. Regards, Phil. |

Hi niko, Sorry for resurrecting this old thread, but I got a similar question in regard to renaming the DLL. Can I rename it to something else like GameSound.DLL? Of course, I would still abide by the license and purchase one when I go commercial. Thanks. Nick |

If it works, then just do it. |
