I just started using RocketCake and have this question - I want to use RocketCake to do some basic html editing in a .php page, which I have downloaded from a website that I am working on. When I try to open the .php page with RocketCake, it gives me this error message - Loading Failed Error loading document '/Users/paule/Documents/RocketCakePublished/shipping.php', the document is corrupted or is no Web Builder file Is it not possible to open an existing .php file with RocketCake? Or do I need to copy all the html from that .php page, and paste it into a new blank RocketCake html page, and then save it as .php? Any help appreciated. Thank you. |

Don't worry, I found the answer, it seems that I can only add my own php code if I buy the Professional version, because when I tried to paste my own .php text, I got this message - "Sorry, adding your own code modifications is only possible in the professional edition of RocketCake. Apart from this, all other features are available in the free edition. To use this, please purchase a professional edition license." But I haven't had a chance to see if RocketCake will do what I need it to do. It's a pity that there isn't a free trial for the Professional version, so that we can be sure it will work for us, before we buy it. |

In the free version, you can do it too (right-click into an element, and select "HTML Code...", then you can enter your own code on the bottom), and you can see what changes will be done. You just cannot save your changes in the free version. |
