Hi I have a technical website with loads of articles full of equations. I am moving over from the now defunked Front Page to RocketCake. All of my articles are written in MS Word using its equation editor. I *used* to be able to save the Word document as an HTML page and all the equations would be saved as images. I could then copy the text into RocketCake, then insert the images afterwards However, it now seems Word does not save equations as images any more, so I am stuck... Do you know how I can create a RocketCake page from my Word documents? Is there another package I can use that saves my equations as images. I would rather not edit the raw HTML inside RocketCake as this is asking for problems! Please let me know - Thanks - Simon |

Have you tried to "Select ALL/Copy" an equation in your Word file and then pasting into an RC page? This should work OK unless there is a lot of formatting in the equation. IF that does not work, try "Print"/save the Word file as a PDF and then upload to your website in a directory named "/equations". Create a link to the PDF on your website, using the full path - http://www.yoursite/equations/your-filename.pdf |

You can probably also just create a screenshot of the equations. Zoom in in word, press the PRINT button, paste the image into your picture image like Paint.NET, crop the image, and paste it into RocketCake. |
