I just did... hopefully there are others there who have never heard of/seen my game, who will like it. *fingers crossed* |

I've been on gamejolt for arount 2 years - still waiting to be authorised for the marketplace. |

You need help message me there on gamejolt |

Gamejolt had been used by many developers since year, but it is of no use. It's better to create community over whatsapp by creating a whatsapp channel, almost everybody uses it, and you don't have to be on your desktop every time to check stuff. |

@guest_Guest seems like your statements are false, you don't have to use a desktop computer for using gamejolt, there is a mobile app you can also use, so better check before posting nonsense or people should not trust to what you are saying |

I guess just because what'sapp more convenient. I still haven't a clue how to upload my projects to gamejolt - it will still only let me post devlogs at the moment (even with a verified account). I've tried for over an hour and resorted to just uploading to mega and generating a link instead. I'll probably ditch gamejolt - every tiny step with it has been a pain-in-the-a$$ so far. Whatsapp groups are pretty much instant to set-up and join. paste/share links is 1-click... and you don't need to go through the ridiculous hoops sending tax reports and photo ID to get stripe-verified to share anything. |

Before you upload games you setup a withdraw verification like PayPal or wire transfer before you upload games. |

I actually tried to be a gamejolt developer, I even uploaded my game. But everytime I submit my address and id verification to setup payment, it just says: Something went wrong. Please check that you've entered everything correctly. This is usually because of an invalid zip/postal code, invalid SSN/EIN or phone number." Over and over again, I submitted my verification private information a couple of times and it just says this, it made me feel very unsafe. |

@Bracer, exactly the same experience! - very bizzare, they just leave you hanging. After contacting their support a few times, they said it's actually a stripe verification error, not a user error - it took a "long" time (1 year+) for me to become verified. I just got an email last week or so saying "Congrats, you're all set up". It's a very weird (hit & miss) sign-up process, as compared to itch which, from memory I think was pretty much instant. I think with GameJolt, it's very much dependant on where you are geographically - personally I was in Ireland when I applied, seemed to break their system, lol. Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence. If you REALLY want an account, just keep emailing their help-desk, after a few auto-bot replies, they'll say they've manually confirmed your details - then it's just a case of waiting a full tax-year to become verified, lol. |

but, to be fair, now I am verified, it looks like I can indeed upload projects on their marketplace and adjust their revenue share. |

That's great I can check out your asset. |
