Hello, I have two suggestions that could perhaps be implemented with additional modules: A container whose content is only activated or displayed by clicking a button and is completely blocked beforehand. For example, a Google Maps map or other website modules that store cookies could be placed here. This would make it easy to integrate services into the website that require user consent. The second suggestion is a bit more specific: A container that is displayed on a timed basis. I hope what I've written is understandable. Thanks very much and best regards Bruce |

Thanks for the suggestions! The first one could be added easily using a downloadable component (you cn even likely create it yourself) - but I don't quite understand the second one. For what would this be used for? |

Would be an idea. Any examples you have in mind? |

The second suggestion is a bit more specific: A container that is displayed on a timed basis. I would use this for a limited-time offer, for example, or for another notice. |

ref. calendar cpntainer Hi, thank you for spending time to my idea. I suggest a monthly view. If there are events the referring days should be marked some way, f.e. a fat frame, fat font or something like that. clicking to an 'event-day' opens a little window showing details, f.e. time and name/type of event. another click returns to the monthly view. Hope this helped to clarify my vision... kindly regards Lifter |

Makes sense! But did you see any actual example on the web? |

Hi, there are some Templates for Wordpress pages but I find that much too overloaded and complicated (see: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/) or (https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/which-is-the-best-wordpress-calendar-plugin/) and i found some JAVA Script templates (just look for java calendar templates) i avoind to fill this with all that links... But all that offers a bunch of functions and i really would prefer a more simple version as described. So now i wonder if we all will enjoy the new calendar container soon :-))) ?? Good luck and kindly regards Lifter |
