When creating a download link, I select "file from disk" as option in the hyperlink dialog. And it works. But now I've seen on the "advanced" tab, there is the option to select the type of the link to be "download".
Do I need to check that option? I mean - it works without, and it seems to work the same with it. I don't see the difference, but I want to make it right.

It just tells the browser that the linked object should be downloaded.
For files this usually doesn't make a difference but it could not be bad to select it.
