I followed the basic tutorial found here: https://www.ambiera.com/rocketcake/tutorial02_create_contact_form.html I updated the email in the php code block to one of the same domain as the hosted website... but it never arrives. I'd like to eliminate RocketCake as the source of the issue, so maybe there's some known issues to check first? I made the form before I registered, but completed the PHP block afterwards, if that could cause an issue. Something like 10 years ago I had a website on this same hosting account (different domain) that implemented a bunch of contact forms that worked fine, so I don't think it's an issue with the host at all, but if it is I'd like some ideas on what configurations to try. I am on PHP version 5.4.45, and have the ability to update it from the Plesk console. There's a bunch of other settings I'm afraid to touch. My DNS is managed through Cloudflare... do I need to add a DNS entry to get the email to go? Or is it just supposed to do it? Any advice would be great. |

I followed a tutorial that did some validation and bounced error message to me, so I could see why it was being rejected: SMTP server response: 552 5.2.0 Message contains bare LF and is violating 822.bis section 2.3 So, I updated the \n in the tut to \r\n and that passed. I recommend you update the tutorial to handle this case. |

Oh, that's interesting - thanks for posting. I don't think I heard of this happening before - are you using some unusual mail server? |
