hello dear people, this is about my own game engine i wanna make, since i have been an Coppercube user since Coppercube 6.5 i wanted a newer and an more fresh game engine that is like coppercube but in graphics api better (for example i use in the engine OpenGL 4.6, Coppercube uses OpenGL 2.1). Thats why i started my own game engine called "Bronzite Engine" i also loved penumbra and the HPL engine which isnt public thats also one of the reasons. If you wanna see my current progress feel free to reach out on my itch.io page here: https://benedictbutnotpapst.itch... and here current state Image: |

Hello dear people its me again, I just uploaded an optimization and some tiny additions update for the Alpha version. From Glas materials to flat planes can be spawned and an filter option for MSAA and Anisotropic filtering(which doesnt quite work and can crash when changed) and the lightsource problems are now a bit more compressed but still i would say up to 4-5 lightsources can properly be used but i will still work on that. Export is still not possible. |

Hello dear people and Coppercube users, I just wanna say that an new Bronzite version is out, the first release of Bronzite Canary. Bronzite Canary is an experimental version with more features but also not properly working features. The latest update is about water. |

Hello dear people, I am leaving Coppercube. And also for those who don't know, "Bronzite Engine" is canceled. The new Engine "Hematite Engine" will be the proper Game Engine far more superior, "Bronzite Engine" was entirely written in Python and also didn't had proper PyAssimp and much more issues. The "Bronzite Engine" lackes in terms of proper performance. So "Hematite Engine" is written in C++, Opengl ( later DirectX 11 and much later DirectX 12 support), Jolt Physics. So officially "Bronzite Engine" is closed, and will never be worked on any further. |
