Hello. i kinda have a problem, i have 1 3d model but on the textures panel, i can only insert 1 texture meanwhile 2 textures are needed for the 3d model, if anyone knows any anwser to this problem i would be very glad

1- What format is the model? 2- Is it a static model or an animated model? 3- Are there two material slots available in the models properties or is only one available? 4- In irrlicht settings, are there 2 material slots you can assign textures to or just one? |

1-fbx 2-static 3-just one 4-i can insert in these 4 slots the 2 textures, but it doesnt change the texture |

Then place in the same directory" Import the fbx in static in Coppercube and it should add the two models. |

You constantly give these awful non-answers, because your reading abilities are garbage. They made it clear that just the first material slot is there (default white). Read it 700 times if you have to, but please don't half-bake this, because you're just going to confuse new users with these questions that were answered already. |

It's been asked and answered about 50 times before, in detail. 1- Yes, my reading isn't great, that's due to dyslexia and PTSD caused by combat trauma, but it's nowhere near as bad as people's inability to use the search function on this forum. 2- My answer isn't confusing - it's simply asking for all the relevant info required to diagnose the problem, then offer a solution. Search for "Thanks VP" to see how I solved countless issues. 3- No, they didn't make it clear - they mentioned textures, the material slots are different to the texture slots, I just wanted to clarify because many people use the words materials and textures interchangeably. 4- No problem, I'll sit back in lurker mode from now on and let others take the lead. |

..but before I go.. In irrlicht settings, if the 2 material slots are already there, simply click the texture you want, then click the small "s" to assign the texture to the material slot, it should then add the texture slot automatically (with the selected texture applied) in the models texture properties. |

Hi everyone. It's j9907. I've periodically went onto this forum since 2017 and have always loved the community, and what it was (and still is). For the longest time I was active on here, and had a lot of drive to learn about the engine and help people where I can. I don't know what happened, but evidently I lost any semblance of sanity and became very negative (and cannot work on anything anymore or find it in myself to do anything at this point). Sure, some unfortunate things happened, but it doesn't excuse things I've said, done, and bridges I've burnt with numerous people here. Anyways, the community isn't too active anymore, but still wanted to get an apology out there. I won't be posting on here after this post. To those I've wronged, you know who you are, and I'm sorry. Bless all of you for going out of your way to help me with that project of mine which never came even close to completion due to my issues. All the best. You still stand by this, or you going back to your old ways again?... |

Yep, I'm a tad odd - like I said I'm a combat veteran with PTSD and anger issues - deal with it; there are hundreds of thousands of us who don't give much of a f. about anything any more. No, I'm not keeping track of everything you're saying, I simply remembered your "I'm leaving" comment (using my "mush for brains") because you never post anything, it stood out like a sore thumb. You're obviously not a person who values your words. Your apology meant nothing then, same as your insults now. Anyway, what's next - oh yeah, your unusual "para-social freak" insult... You're happy to spam keyboard-warrior gibes (from a toddler's handbook) - instead of posting something helpful for the OP. There's nothing to settle - J9960 clearly has no intention of helping the OP here. instead chose to spam multiple insults at me. I don't tolerate bullying, if he wants to insult my intellect or veganism, it has no place here, he can do that through my personal emaiI or face to face instead. Problem solved. |

hey guys, im usually... mostly... just reading stuff on here never posting anything but i just wanted to express my feelings. i know that my words genuinely don't matter that much as im being just yet another ghostly figure floating by, I care about this place and the people in it, and i've seen you guys helping them. A lot. Its painful to see good people fighting each other. yeah just wanted to share some shallow thoughts of mine. ive studied on your tricks, demos, methods, you were the ones that were building the foundation for this community to grow on along side with just_in_case. big and small your contributions, commentaries, methods and tricks proved that some stuff could be made on this engine. i didn't know before that one of you has been dealing with mental issues, and another is living with the scars of PTSD. I can’t imagine what it’s like to carry those things every day, and I’m so sorry that any of you have to. No one deserves that kind of burden. i will never understand everything thats going on in your minds as i've never gone through the events you had to, never seen stuff you saw with your eyes, but i can say that... to me you are all very good people. you care about others, always helping out those ones in need despite how tedious and unthankful this job is. good people have can have issues, they can be messed up and you can have an argument with each other, and yet i feel thats wrong. you have all the rights to be tired or upset, but please guys, i beg of you, don't fight. i know that nothing will change after i make these statements, it won't fix anything, especially things that already happened yet i want you to read these words. words written by your student. you’ve made a difference.
