Well I was about to implement CopperLicht into my project for the collision detection and the model animation support but I decided against it because I do not have the money to spend on a hobby project. If Ambiera is worried about the size of the model being imported, limit file size, or let the developer decide? I really was looking forward to Copperlicht because I liked the fact it had ACTIVE forums and documentation, but I am not going to be forced into buying something that is required to import in models. That is just my two cents

The reason we have active forums and development is probably because there are people funding all this, this way.
But anyway, CopperLicht can be used freely (only the editor costs a bit of money), and you are also free to write an importer which works without the editor. Additionally, if you are a student or similar, you can get even the editor for a quite big discount.
Somehow even we, the developers behind all this need to live from something :)
