Hi,

when I embed a youtube video on my website, I get this error from the youtube player instead of the video playing:

Watch video on youtube
Error 153
Video player configuration error

or in German:

Video auf YouTube ansehen
Fehler 153
Fehler bei der Konfiguration des Videoplayers

What can I do about it?

It looks like youtube has broken something. Not sure if it is intentional and if they will fix it soon.

I've read some wrong infos on the web, some people say to clear the cache files in your browser or disable ad blockers, some it's a matter of adding the attribute referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin".
All of this didn't help for me when opening the .html file with the video in it from my local disk. It also doesn't help to use youtube's own generated code you get from the "embed youtube video" feature.

But it works without error when you view your page on the web, from a webserver. Then the error isn't there.
