So... CopperCube relies on DirectX 9, which is deprecated. On modern Windows systems it mostly runs through legacy support or translation layers rather than being a first-class API. On the Android side, CopperCube is dropping APK support as “deprecated,” and even when it does work, the last supported target is API level 30 (Android 11), which is about 5 years old at this point, I understand this have to do with Android possibly/rumored to be dropping side loading. So... if Windows and Android are long-term dead ends for CopperCube, does that leave the web as the only viable future? |
