I just downloaded the last version. Congratulation RocketCake ist still for me the best WYSIWYG editor. But for the publication with the help of FTP ist really not good. I have many pages. If I change only on date on a page and click to publish I have to wait about 1,5 min or more the see that the update start. This is in my opignon a really weak point. Regard Otto |

That's strange, is your website very large? Does it contain many large files like images, maybe? RocketCake needs to check if something has changed before upload (like also images referenced etc) so this could then take a bit. |

Watch the video. I just reloaded the project into RocketCake. I didn't make any changes. I started the publishing process. As you can see, it takes a long time. I have 95 videos. But I upload them via FTP using Total Commander, which is much faster. Link to the video: http://ateho.ch/rc/RC-71_REC.mp4 so you can see for yourself. |

Yes - the reason in that case is very likely that RocktCake needs to check all your videos byte for byte if something has changed and if it needs to upload them. For that many videos it takes a bit of time probably. |

Hello, If I select the option “do not upload big files,” it still takes a very long time. There is no progress bar or percentage indicator to inform the user whether anything is happening. It would be helpful to have an option where RC checks only the local files when the “Archive” flag is enabled. If “Archive” is turned on, the upload could then proceed, and the “Archive” option would automatically switch off after the upload. Just an idea. |
