Hello, I am in the process of working on a simple website and I was wondering regarding the following. A featured image has the setting option of "Hover styles" where and when brightness can be adjusted. Over such an image with reduced brightness on hover is there any way to show text - perhaps invisible while the image is with standard brightness, and appearing when the image is dimmed? I found some of the button features worked in a similar manner when the button and text colours were set the same as the background, and one then clicks on the "blank" button. Would be very nice if a window with text could be set as overlay to appear/ disappear on hover. Thank you. |

Hm - there is no built-in way to do such a thing unfortunately - but you can add any JavaScript to do this for you. It's maybe a bit difficult if you don't know programming, but maybe you could ask an AI |

Thanks for reply. I am not up to such a programming task, unfortunately. But perhaps that could be a feature incorporated in a future version as some of the underlying modes are already present in disparate elements - buttons can made invisible with text appearing/ disappearing on click; and animations can be set for a certain duration and after dwindle; not to mention that images can conveniently darken on hover.... All of the above together with a few adjustment options will make a terrific special "ghost" container. |

Yes, will thank about that - thanks! |

As a "variant minimum" an added feature to Buttons and written text to vary/ adjust the chosen colour opacity would be very very useful - unless I missed something now colour can be selected only as solid, i.e. fully opaque. |

Do you have an example website where this happens what you describe? |

Give me please about a week to complete the website I am working on (thanks to your software, big thank you!). It is very simple, but it will illustrate what I am saying as I managed to find a way -somewhat primitively- to make buttons with text appear and disappear on hovering/ clicking on. It is a personal gallery with artworks and as in my view permanently displayed text with the prosaic stuff like materials/ dimensions/ year will be definitely a distraction I was looking for a more subdued and elegant way to get it out of the way and only show it up on hover/ click |
