I Looked the files inside the RocketCake.exe and find a BITMAP and a BIN folder. The icons in the BIN folder look much better and more modern, but they don’t seem to be used (at least not all of them), Instead, the application uses the older icons from the BITMAP folder. Why is that so?
(The same goes for the .AppImage, there are higher-quality, better-looking icons available, but they are not being used.)

Various technical reasons - but it's on the list to be changed. Interesting that you found that
