I'm currently building a new website. I downloaded two fonts from the internet and installed them on my computer. I can also select these fonts in Rocketcake. The fonts are displayed correctly in both the browser preview and on the uploaded website, as long as I open the page on my computer where the fonts are installed locally. However, on all other devices, such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones, only a default font is displayed. My question: Doesn't Rocket Cake integrate external fonts into the page in such a way that they are loaded and displayed on all browsers and devices? If that's not the case: Is there a way to ensure these external fonts are displayed correctly on all devices and browsers? |

Yes, only the fonts prefilled in the selection box in RocketCake are websafe and work everywhere. If you want to use more fonts, your website needs to provide them. You can do it like this: 1) Put the font files in your website folder. 2) Add the @font-face CSS in RocketCake: Click the menu View ? HTML Code ? Additional CSS code and write something like: @font-face { font-family: 'MyFont'; src: url('fonts/MyFont-Regular.woff2') format('woff2'); font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-display: swap; } 3) Tell RocketCake to use the font: In the font selection box at the top, type "MyFont" and press Enter. Be sure that you own a license for that font, or that it is free to use and its lisense allows that. |
