I know this tool works fine for AS3, but I wanted to know if it would be possible to obfuscate external as2 files.
I have to give my customers my source code which is stored in external .as files and I'd like them to have a little headache if they decide to use that code without my permission.

Hi,
it's an AS3 obfuscator, yes. But depending on your project, it could also work with AS2, simply try it out. Maybe you are lucky. You could need to add some of the method calls and class names of the AS2 flash API to the exception list, but it could work.
