The hover feature does not appear to fade after moving the mouse leaving each menu item with the detail showing. It only fades when another navigation menu item is clicked. Is this possible to avoid this?

Usually, it should. What browser you you discovering this with? Or maybe some special setting you are using? You can also send me your .wspd file (See Company -> Contact) so I can have a look at it and give you some detailed help.
