Hi, I have been trying out WSP for a few days now, and have some general feedback (I am playing with a few website apps to see what works for me). Overall I like the flexibility of this app, but compared to something like WYSIWYG Web Builder it has a way to go yet in terms of features. (Yes I know thats a Windows app, but its actually not a bad one!) However, I do find that WSP is growing on me. But there are a couple of really annoying, yet simple things that would make life easier in the useability space, and this is a Mac app after all!! I have just switched from the PC world, so have high expectations :-) 1. When opening WSP, it would be great if the app remembered where I left everything such as window, size, panel layout, etc. Rather then open at the same spot all the time asking me what I want to do, then have to resize it all again. 2. When editing text, I cant see what has been highlighted, really annoying when trying to create hyperlinks on text. 3. A number of windows pop up to remind me of things, like I might over write my website when publishing for example (thats good). It asks me if I would like to not see this message all the time by setting a check box. I set the check box and it asks me the same question every time I do this once the app has been restarted (not so good). I know sometimes we get excited about building bells and whistles, but some basic things can go a long way to help the user experience. So in wrapping up, let me say I write this as constructive feedback, with the hope of improving my user experience, not just bad mouthing it. If I have missed something in the settings that will fix the above then my apologies. Please let me know. Otherwise keep up the good work. Regards, Damien |
