I think that Webpainter needs a Duplicate function. In my experience having a "Duplicate" function as an addition to the traditional "Copy" and "Paste" and "Delete" is essential. Many items on a page are similar image placeholders, text boxes, etc. Often fonts and sizes are similar. To lay out a page quickly, one only has to create one of those, select it, then hit Duplicate, which places a duplicate of the item on the page, usually offset to the right and down a bit so as not to be right on top of the copied item. It's important to users to have this function on a great program like Webpainter. |
